It’s a process that can seem daunting, but I’m here to help! I’m capturing you, where you’re at in this moment of life; my goal is to create an experience that embodies that + more. Your session is an event & your outfit should represent who you are.

Here are a few tips for when choosing what to wear:

  • Start with your “main” piece. Don’t have one? Think of a keyword that you want your images to portray (romantic, edgy, formal, casual, boho, etc) Check out Pinterest for ideas when you type that word in. Then go from there!

  • Pull 1 or 2 colors from that main piece to style everyone else.

  • ix patterns with textures (as a rule of thumb try to stick to 2 solids for every pattern)

  • Dress for your personality; be yourself + 10! Go a little extra; you’ll feel it & your photos will show it.

  • Focus on form: form fitting outfits photograph better than loose items.

  • Accessorize! If you’re interested in trying a hat, statement jewelry, a denim jacket, bring it with!

  • Consider your location.

  • Say YES to texture; (knit sweaters, linen, tweed, faux fur, etc.)

  • Don’t forget the shoes! Try to stay away from athletic shoes (unless that’s your vibe!) Depending on location, consider going barefoot!

What to stay away from:

  • Neon colors

  • Logos/graphics

  • Matching: compliment each other but try not to match everyone and you’ll be good!
